Leagle User and Visitor Information Notice
Leagle Mobile Application (Leagle) respects your privacy and values your data security. Therefore, with this "User and Visitor Information Notice," we aim to inform you in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (PDPL) and other relevant regulations.
This information notice has been prepared to inform you about the collection, protection, and processing of personal data; the secure storage of processed data; and the prevention of its unlawful use, for individuals who apply for, subscribe to, use, register, visit, or receive any service through the https://leagleapp.com website or the Leagle Mobile Application or through third parties or Leagle’s affiliates for requests, suggestions, support, complaints, or information communicated through any means.
Please note that, in cases where explicit consent is required, we will obtain your consent; however, in certain exceptional cases permitted by the PDPL, your personal data may be processed without explicit consent.
Collection of Personal Data
Methods:
Your personal data is collected verbally, in writing, and/or electronically through both automated and non-automated methods, within the purposes specified above, with or without explicit consent where required.
- Through any subscription service, product purchase, membership, and/or by filling out any form on the https://leagleapp.com website, other future websites, or social media accounts operating on behalf of Leagle.
- Via application, purchase request, complaint, suggestion, demand, support, etc., through email addresses, text messages, application messages, notifications, and other communication channels.
- Through direct communication with related employees or the call center within Leagle or via third parties outside of Leagle for sales and marketing purposes.
- Via any contracts, documents, and papers signed, physically delivered, and transmitted by any means.
- Through business partners, suppliers, banking transactions, mobile banking applications, and other parties providing services or receiving services.
Processed Personal Data:
The personal information we collect directly from you or through your organization (if you access and use Leagle on behalf of an organization) includes:
- Contact information such as your name, date of birth, email address, and residence,
- Login credentials like usernames and passwords,
- Professional information, profile details, and photos,
- Comments, questions, feedback, and other information you provide, as well as information related to preferences and interests you specify on the website.
Additionally, the following data is collected directly from you:
- Legal disputes, life events, evidence, indicators, and other information you provide to enable Leagle’s services,
- Call center voice recordings and information related to complaints and requests,
- Payment details, such as credit or bank card numbers, purchase history, bank account numbers, and IBANs, and, if required (e.g., for invoicing), T.C. Identification Number and Tax ID.
Purposes of Data Processing
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the PDPL and related legislation, respecting the principle of lawful and fair processing, and limited to relevant, accurate, and up-to-date purposes.
Data processing is permitted if one of the following conditions applies:
- Upon obtaining explicit consent,
- If explicitly required by law,
- If necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of the person or others who are legally incapable of giving consent,
- If directly related to the establishment or execution of a contract, provided the data belongs to the contracting parties,
- If required to fulfill a legal obligation of the data controller,
- If the data has been made public by the individual,
- If necessary to establish, exercise, or protect a legal right,
- If necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual.
Additional purposes include:
- Ensuring secure access to the website for subscribers, users, members, visitors, and corporate subscribers,
- Ensuring the security of the https://leagleapp.com website, social media accounts, and other potential websites,
- Improving, enhancing, and developing services, events, and products, and creating new models,
- Addressing technical issues for improved access to mobile applications and websites and providing a better user experience,
- Enhancing service quality, monitoring service performance, and communicating changes, updates, and announcements,
- Delivering targeted ads, promotions, and notifications related to your interests and providing information about third-party products and services,
- Conducting marketing analysis, sales, and market interpretation, management analysis, site usage analysis, and preparing statistical data.
Transfer of Personal Data
In line with the legal data processing purposes, Leagle may transfer personal data and special category personal data to third parties domestically and internationally with appropriate security measures. Personal data may be transferred by Leagle when any of the data processing conditions in the PDPL are met and in compliance with the principles of data processing.
Under the principles and legal conditions specified in the law:
- Leagle may transfer personal data to partners, suppliers, banks, and consultancy firms to provide the services you have requested, storage services (e.g., Amazon, Google cloud services), server hosting services, marketing communication, financial processes, and server services.
- Leagle may transfer personal data to its partners for strategy, legal process tracking, business development, analysis, and auditing purposes.
- Leagle may share personal data with authorized public institutions and organizations if requested for lawful purposes.
- Leagle may share personal data with authorized private entities if such entities have a legal right to request it.
Leagle processes personal data in compliance with the PDPL regulations. Data may be transferred to foreign countries with sufficient protection as announced by the Personal Data Protection Board or, in the absence of such protection, to countries where adequate protection is guaranteed in writing and with the Board's approval.
Your Rights Under the PDPL
Under Article 11 of the PDPL, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data has been processed,
- To request information if your personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request correction if your personal data is incomplete or incorrect, and to request notification of third parties to whom data was transferred,
- To request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing no longer apply, even if processed lawfully, and to request third-party notification,
- To object to any unfavorable results arising from automated data analysis,
- To object to unfavorable results from the exclusive use of automated systems for data analysis.
